What Are Safety Gates For Stairs
Theories on child development are advanced from different perspectives. For instance, Jean Piaget puts forward several stages in child’s development while Lev Vygotsky believes that development is rather a process that cannot be framed within stages. While the former posited that children construct knowledge through hands-on experience, the former focused on the influence of culture in child development. Other theories such that of Erik Erikson equate child development with psycho-social development in which the key factors considered are social interaction and its supposed link with personality development. Then there is also the popular Freudian theory which relates child development in stages wherein each stage is focused on satisfying the sexual pleasure argued to be innate to humans. Others like B.F. Skinner focused on the behavioural model of child’s development that includes the operant conditioning and verbal behaviour.
